With the Magewell Pro Convert HDMI TX to NDI you convert an HDMI video signal with embedded audio to an NDI stream . The Pro Convert has an HDMI input. The converter supports HDMI input signals up to 2048 x 1200 at 60fps. The RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port supports encrypted NDI output up to 2048 x 1200 at 60fps.

Capabilities of the Magewell Pro Convert HDMI TX to NDI

The incoming video signal with embedded audio is converted to an NDI encoded stream that can be sent via Ethernet to various NDI compliant encoding or streaming applications such as e.g. OBS, XSplit, vMix, Wirecast and others will be sent. The mini DIN-8 tally/PTZ port provides tally input for pass-through and for use with the Magewell Pro Convert HDMI TX to NDI status LEDs. The LEDs also indicate the status of the power supply and the input and output signal.

Power Options and Mounting

The Magewell Pro Convert HDMI TX to NDI is powered by the 5V AC adapter connected to the USB 2.0 Type-B port or via PoE (Power over Ethernet) via the RJ45 port. The Pro Convert can be managed with a web UI to configure settings and perform firmware updates via the USB port. The 1/4″-20 mounting thread allows for rack, bracket or stand mounting. The Pro Convert comes with a USB cable, a 5V AC adapter, a mini DIN-8 cable and an L-bracket for mounting.
