The focus remains steady all the time whether you zoom in or out. The 16 aperture blades also deliver a soft, almost dreamy, bokeh effect. This adds even more depth to the scene. Your subject is therefore excellently isolated.

Focusing is also very accurate with the 270° rotatable focus ring. Because the markings – in feet as meters – are on both sides, it doesn’t matter to focus pullers which side they are on. You can also use gimbals and stabilizers with a focus motor. This offers safer and more efficient working methods because you have to lift less heavy. Super handy if you’re a Run-and-Gun filmmaker.
