With the Blackmagic Mini Converter – SDI Distribution 4K you can send a Single Link SD, HD, 3G or 6G-SDI signal to up to eight SDI devices simultaneously. The mini converter automatically detects the type of input signal, re-clocks it and automatically adjusts its eight outputs to the video format present at the SDI input.
With the Blackmagic Mini Converter – SDI Distribution 4K you can convert a Single Link SD, HD, 3G or 6G-SDI send signal simultaneously to up to eight SDI devices. The mini converter automatically detects the type of input signal, re-clocks it and automatically adjusts its eight outputs to the video format present at the SDI input. Thanks to its compact housing and easy operation, the mini converter is ideal for a variety of applications, such as broadcast, post-production and professional AV.
Maximum compatibility
The mini converter is equipped with 6G-SDI technology and supports resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K at 30fps and DCI 4K at 24fps, as well as SD, HD and 3G-SDI signals . The converter supports all SDI related features including embedded audio, additional data and is even capable of ASI signals. The settings of the mini converter can be changed by means of DIP switches or via USB with the supplied software for Mac OS X or Windows. You can also perform firmware updates via the USB port.
