The Blackmagic Mini Converter – HDMI to SDI 6G is a powerful converter to convert HDMI signals to a 6G SDI video signal. This is possible in resolutions up to DCI 4K 4096 x 2160 pixels at 24p and Ultra HD 4K 3840×2160 pixels at up to 60p. This allows you to connect consumer devices with HDMI output to professional SDI video equipment. The compact design and simple operation make the Mini Converter ideal for a variety of broadcast, post-production and professional AV applications.
Using 4K HDMI and 6G-SDI technology, the Mini Converter automatically detects the type of video signal and can instantly switch between SD, HD0 and UHD/DCI 4K formats. The two 6G-SDI outputs also support SD and HD-SDI signals for integration into existing workflows. Both 6G-SDI outputs output the same signal. Audio from the HDMI source or input via the two 6.35mm jack inputs is embedded in the SDI signal. This supports four AES/EBU digital audio or two channels of analog audio.
