The Blackmagic Micro Converter – BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G is a compact bidirectional converter for simultaneously converting SDI to HDMI and vice versa, even when using different standards. The converter supports resolutions up to DCI 2K in SDI and 1080p60 in HDMI.

The converter also provides camera control conversion for Blackmagic HDMI cameras such as the BMPCC 4K or 6K, so you can use it with an SDI-based live switcher. The Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G supports HDMI timecode, SDI re-clocking for stability over long cable runs. In addition, the converter supports a wide range of professional broadcast resolution, including Cine-style 48fps and both HDMI and SDI embedded audio input and output.

Robust and versatile power supply

This pocket-sized converter has a sturdy metal housing with power and signal LED status indicators and robust connectors. With a USB Type-C port, the bi-directional SDI/HDMI converter can be easily connected to and powered by large displays, laptops, personal computers or projectors. The converter can also be powered with the separately available 100-240 VAC power supply, complete with 4 travel plugs, which can be found in the optional accessories.
