The Magewell USB Capture SDI Gen 2 HD Video Capture Dongle is an extremely compact single-channel USB 3.0 video capture dongle. Via the SDI input you can record video signals with a resolution of up to 2048 x 1080 (2K) at 60fps. If you want to stream or record in a certain resolution, the USB Capture SDI Gen 2 will automatically scale the input signal up or down to the set resolution. The dongle can also perform frame-rate conversion and de-interlacing in real-time, thereby relieving the computer’s processor.

Plug-and-play

Because the Magewell USB Capture SDI Gen 2 uses existing drivers on your computer, you can use the dongle with any type of software that supports these drivers. The USB 3.0 dongle is backwards compatible with USB 2.0, although the frame rate and bandwidth are limited. Magewell’s USB Capture SDI Gen 2 is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.
